With members who have worked with the likes of David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Brian Adams and Keith Emerson, and others who have performed on Broadway and in the Royal Albert Hall, The Floyd Effect has returned in 2023/24 with its most ambitious tour to date: They Told Us What to Dream.  This highlights not one, but two complete Pink Floyd albums – indeed, the two that are considered by legions of their fans to be the band’s most important works. After kicking off the evening with side one of Animals, The Floyd Effect performs the whole of Wish You Were Here. The second set then features a complete, unbroken performance of perhaps the greatest album of all time, Dark Side Of The Moon, as well as other tracks lovingly recreated from Pink Floyd’s acclaimed live shows.  The timing of this concert is not an accident. It’s exactly fifty years since Dark Side Of The Moon was released, yet it remains as relevant today as it ever was. From its instantly recognisable introduction to the iconic heartbeat that closes the album, it speaks to people across three generations like no other music from the past five decades.  The Floyd Effect is renowned for the remarkable accuracy with which it performs the music of Pink Floyd, and each performance is a genuine live event supported by a dramatic light show that incorporates the iconic circular screen together with the projections that help to make it a powerful and emotional experience.  Sit back and enjoy The Floyd Effect as the band takes you on a journey through some of the most revered music ever written. Unless you were there the first time around, it was never as real as this.
