CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

With Government guidance announced earlier this week to help stop the spread of coronavirus, Bedford Borough Council is announcing some changes to our facilities and services at this extraordinary time.

As has been seen with other UK performance venues, the decision has been taken to close Bedford Corn Exchange for the time being.

We are currently managing all cancellations of shows and events on a rolling basis and are keeping the timeframe for this under constant review. We are seeking to reschedule performances for a later date wherever possible.

Where performances are rescheduled, tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date. Refunds will be issued for customers who are unable to attend the rescheduled date. For any cancelled performances, customers will be issued with a refund.

Our front of house team will be in contact with all affected customers in due course. Please bear with us during this time as we have a large number of customers to contact.

Neil Sands and his wonderful cast are back with a new production for 2020, of their most popular patriotic show Land of Hope & Glory, celebrating The Best of British Entertainment and especially produced to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the end of The Second World War. VE Day 75.

This patriotic and nostalgic afternoon is filled with marvellous and memorable songs, including a rousing selection from Last Night of The Proms, Old Time Sing Alongs, Great British Show Tunes, and ever popular favourites from the 40s 50s & 60s.

This promises to be their biggest and most spectacular patriotic production ever. Over two hours of timeless nostalgia, with sensational voices, more than 50 stunning costume changes, including a spectacular 1940’s style VE Day party with enough bunting, flags and fun to light up the brightest stage, followed by flag waving finale in a heart warming tribute to the veterans of the armed forces.

Transaction Fee
All online bookings are subject to a £3.10 transaction fee. All bookings over £8.00 made in person or via telephone are subject to a £2.10 transaction fee. This fee is applicable per booking, not per ticket. VAT is included in the price of all tickets purchased on our website or via the Box Office.

Refunds
In common with general theatre practice, we regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except where a show is cancelled. We can accept your tickets for resale, but the venue’s unsold tickets will take priority. A charge of £1.00 will be made if tickets are sold on your behalf.

Reservations
Tickets can be reserved for a period of 7 days. No unpaid reservations can be accepted in the 4 days prior to a performance.

Latecomers
To avoid disturbing the audience and performers, latecomers to some shows may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
