MOZART Symphony No. 29

Saxophone sensation Jess Gillam, one of the most acclaimed young classical music stars in recent years, joins London Mozart Players for a seven-concert tour across the UK this summer.

Jess Gillam will bring all her virtuosity and “life affirming talent” (BBCYM) to Bedford this July, with a programme encompassing Glazunov’s romantic and beautifully lyrical Saxophone Concerto and Marcello’s Concerto in C minor for saxophone alongside LMP favourites by classical giants Mozart and Haydn. Still only 21, Jess Gillam burst onto the music scene in 2016 as the first saxophonist ever to reach the final of the BBC Young Musician competition. She has wowed audiences and inspired young musicians with her passion for music ever since – her first album, RISE, released in April 2019, shot to No.1 in the Official UK Classical Charts.

If you thought the saxophone was just for jazz, think again! This will be an extraordinary night of music-making from a Classical Brit winning soloist and an internationally celebrated orchestra.

All online bookings are subject to a £3.10 transaction fee. All bookings over £8.00 made in person or via telephone are subject to a £2.10 transaction fee. This fee is applicable per booking, not per ticket. VAT is included in the price of all tickets purchased on our website or via the Box Office.

Refunds
In common with general theatre practice, we regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except where a show is cancelled. We can accept your tickets for resale, but the venue’s unsold tickets will take priority. A charge of £1.00 will be made if tickets are sold on your behalf.

Reservations
Tickets can be reserved for a period of 7 days. No unpaid reservations can be accepted in the 4 days prior to a performance.

Latecomers
To avoid disturbing the audience and performers, latecomers to some shows may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
