The Corn Exchange complex boasts three charming rooms suitable for wedding receptions; the Corn Exchange Main Auditorium, the Harpur Suite and the Howard Room. These spaces can be hired individually or in combination according to the number of guests you would like to invite to your reception.

Corn Exchange Main Auditorium
Built in the early 1870s, the Corn Exchange Main Auditorium is immensely flexible with an air of romance owing to its enchanting past. 'Used by Glenn Miller for performances during World War II, the Lombardo Hall (as the Main Auditorium was then known) has witnessed numerous couples fall in love.
Depending
on the number of wedding guests, diners can be seated at oblong or round tables
or a combination of both. This elegant room is ideal for wedding parties for
between 150 and 400 guests. An individual seating layout will be provided
for your celebration with seating configurations and stages tailored to your
needs. Typically, wedding stages for DJs would be approximately 8ft by 8ft
with the option of a second stage for a band at approximately 24ft by 12ft.
The Main Auditorium has a fully equipped lighting rig which can be set to provide a range of effects creating a beautifully romantic ambience for your wedding reception. Harpur Suite
Neo-classical
in design, this elegant venue has its own reception area and bar room creating
additional space for your guests to enjoy themselves. This room has an in-built
semi-circular stage at one end perfect for a DJ or band.
Just a stones throw away from St Paul's Church the Harpur Suite is the ideal reception venue for many couples.
The Harpur Suite seats up to 150 guests plus a top table for a wedding breakfast and can accommodate a further 50 guests for the evening buffet.

Howard Room
For
more intimate wedding reception, the Howard Room can seat between 40 and 80
guests comfortably at round tables. With its own bar and dedicated dance floor
this is the perfect venue for a smaller scale wedding.
