Here at the Bedford Corn Exchange Complex we have four spaces that are suitable for performances; the Main Auditorium, Harpur Suite, Howard Room and Civic Theatre. Each space balances a unique historical charm with the latest industry standard technical specifications and services.

The Bedford Corn Exchange Complex deals with a wide variety of events and clients. Which include; major professional touring acts, amateur productions as well as private bookings for weddings, parties and conferences. With a large range of industry standard sound and lighting equipment, the technical team can provide the expertise to meet a client’s requirements.

Central Box Office
The Central Box Office sells tickets for all shows held at the Bedford Corn Exchange Complex including many different events taking place in and around the borough. As Bedford’s principal ticket office, conveniently placed in the centre of town, the Central Box Office is the ideal facility to maximise ticket sales. Tickets can be sold on behalf of a client on a commission basis.
There are various ways in which the venue can be hired for a performance, these include:

Marketing
Performance marketing is the responsibility of the hirer. We are however able to assist you by undertaking the following:
- Advertising the event in the Bedford Corn Exchange quarterly brochure
- Listing the event on our website, which includes online booking
- Providing a local press contact list
- Displaying posters and leaflets in and around the venue
- Displaying posters at nine local leisure sites
- Sending posters to local community centres, touristminformation centres and businesses
- Providing a mailing list if required (at an additional pre-agreed cost).
