Room hire

Our extraordinary banqueting suites can cater for up to 450 guests offering a choice of seating and table plans. The versatility of the rooms we offer allows the ability to meet varying requirements and a combination of rooms can be offered.

Weddings

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your forthcoming wedding celebration. The planning of your special day can be very stressful and we would like to help by reducing that stress. Our hospitality team have years of experience and can offer their knowledge in preparation for your big day. We are able to offer tailored menus with traditional or contemporary catering, Champagne or Kir Royale receptions and an extensive wine menu that can tickle the taste buds of the most discerning guests. Private parties and dinner dances

The Main Auditorium, the Harpur Suite and the Howard Room can all be transformed to your requirements, each with its own unique presence creating the ambience that is individual to your special occasion. As every event is different, we pride ourselves in our ability to be flexible dependent on our clients’ requirements. From themed parties to cocktail bars and speciality cuisine, you can rest assured that every fine detail has been specifically thought out to ensure your special occasion is a success.

Corporate dinners

With a vast experience of hosting banqueting events, our hospitality team are able to provide an extensive range of menus and layouts for your organisation. Previous clients have opted for water shows and pyrotechnic displays, whilst others prefer a simple dining experience with an awards ceremony held in the Howard Room or Harpur Suite. Whether a product launch, corporate dinner, awards ceremony or corporate celebration, consider the Main Auditorium as your blank canvas. Using your budget and our knowledge we can transform this historic building into an exciting visual experience. Hosting a business meeting here at the Bedford Corn Exchange Complex has never been easier and hosting corporate dinners will enable you to utilise our experience and maintain your budget.


Christmas parties

Annually, we organise up to 20 corporate Christmas parties including two Christmas Party Nights. By restricting the number of parties held each year, we can ensure the highest standard of care both prior to and during the event.

Mixed Christmas party nights are held in the Corn Exchange Main Auditorium and are suitable for groups of colleagues and friends, especially those in smaller companies.

The ticket price includes a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine, all the customary Christmas treats, a disco until late and special themed entertainments.

Alternatively, your company or organisation can hire the venue for a private Christmas party. We can assist you in selecting the most appropriate room for your function, choosing your menu, decorating the venue and obtaining the entertainment.
